My Lady and I were invited to attend an event in Mokena, IL. for the Loving Paws Organization. Loving Paws is an organization for people who have rescued dogs that risked being put down or homeless.

The organization provided two bands to play the event. The second band was "Recycle the Day". We were sitting way in the back of the room, when the band opened with a Journey Song. It was quite impressive! Then I noticed that the band just kept playing a great selection of songs. The singers are very good and have great harmonies. I walked over to give them a listen, and after a few minutes, I went back to the table and suggested we all move up by the stage and check out this band. They were rockin'! I was very impressed with the vocals, the two singers, (who turned out to be brother and sister), and also with the over all tightness of the band.

The band had a professional appearance, and was running songs one into another ~ not leaving time for any dead air! The stage was not a big stage, but they managed to put on a big show, full of high energy, and professional. I figure if they were donating their time for this benefit, I can only imagine what they would do at a paid event! The band plays such a very wide variety of songs, it's would be too much to label here. I suggest visiting their website and see their song list for more info. This is a must see band if they are in your area!
